President William Ruto last week witnessed the swearing in of 51 Principal Secretaries he had appointed to be in charge of various State Departments.
The 51 took oath of office after their appointment was approved by Parliament following vetting by respective departments.
As the PSs officially get down to serving the country in their dockets, Moi University is an institution that is proud of some of those appointed.

According to a congratulatory message shared on the university’s Facebook page by the Vice Chancellor Prof Isaac Kosgey, there are 5 Moi University alumni in the list of the PSs.
Prof. Kosgey in the post has congratulated the five for their appointment and wished them well.
“On behalf of Moi University Council, Management Board, Senate, Staff, Alumni and Students, I wish to congratulate you on your appointment as Principle Secretaries to serve the people of Kenya,” the VC said.
“We are extremely proud of this accomplishment, and to have great leaders like you as part of our alumni and affiliate network. We wish you the best as you take up the role,” he added.
The five include former Uasin Gishu gubernatorial candidate Amb. Julius Bitok and running mate to Kakamega gubernatorial candidate Cleophas Malala Beatrice Inyangala.
