Members of the Uasin Gishu County Assembly have approved all individuals nominated to serve as CECMs.
Governor Jonathan Bii Chelilim alias Koti Moja had in October nominated 10 individuals to serve as County Executive Committee Members (CECMs).
The nominees were then forwarded to the County Assembly for vetting.
The Committee on Appointment chaired by Assembly Speaker Phillip Muigei vetted the nominees between October 17, 2022, and October 19, 2022.

Among the issues, the committee gauged the nominees included, academic qualifications, employment record and integrity.
After the vetting process, the committee recommended that all be approved.
A report from the committee was tabled before the floor of the Uasin Gishu County Assembly on November 2, 2022.
The report was later approved.
However, the MCAs proposed that the Energy sector be moved from the Environment department to the Roads, Transport and Public Works.

With their approval, Governor Chelilim is expected to formally appoint them.
Later they will take an oath of office and begin serving in their respective dockets.
The CECMs that have now been approved by the Uasin Gishu County Assembly are:
- Edward Kiprono Sawe – Agriculture, Agribusiness, Livestock and Fisheries
- Micah Kipkosgei Rogony – Finance and Economic Planning
- Abraham Kipkemei Serem – Water, Sanitation, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change
- Anthony Cheruiyot Sitienei – Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Planning
- Joseph Kipng’etich Lagat Sing’oei – Roads, Transport, and Public Works
- Martha Cheruto Nyangwaria – Trade, Industrialization, Tourism, Cooperatives and Enterprise Development
- Elija Kipkemei Kosgei – Public Service Management, Administration and Devolved Units
- Dr Janet Chemeli Kosgei – Education, Technical Training, Gender, Social Protection and Culture
- Dr Kipkemboi Kottut Sammy – Health Services
- Lucy Ng’endo Njoroge – Youth Affairs, Sports, ICT and Innovation.
