“Continue wearing masks, Covid-19 is there, it is real, and numbers are rising to the North. Take care of yourself, take care of your family, take care of yourself more. You need to live and see 2022,” Chemno said.

The Deputy Governor also advised Kenyans against engaging in the illicit brew and other drugs during this festive season.

He noted that alcoholism has in the past contributed to road accidents.

“During Christmas, let’s drink soda a lot which has no effects and will not affect your judgment when driving or crossing the road,” advised the DG.

Chemno further reiterated the need to show love and share with the less fortunate this festive season.

Let’s remember those with no ability to celebrate. Do something that can make your friend be happy. Be mindful of those in hospital, children’s homes and rescue centers, and others who may not be in a position to celebrate, just share something with them,” Chemno said.

The Coca-Cola Christmas roadshow which was attended by the North Rift region Coca Coca officials sets off a series of activities that will see various donations given by the County government and the company to the less fortunate across groups in the North Rift region.
