Best MPs in Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Nandi, Nakuru and Trans Nzoia

A local survey firm Politrack Africa on Wednesday released a report listing the three best Members of Parliament in each of the 47 counties.

The report is based on a survey that the company conducted between March 28 and April 28, 2023.

All those contacted via phone interviews in the survey were aged over 18 and were also registered voters.

Overall, Kiharu Member of Parliament was ranked the best-performing MP, followed by Babu Owino of Embakasi East.

We have compiled for you a list of the three best MPs in Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Nandi, Elgeyo Marakwet and Trans Nzoia – based on the Politrack Africa Survey approval ratings.

Trans Nzoia’s best-performing MPs

1. Maurice Bissau – Kiminini (69.8%)
2. Ferdinard Wanyonyi – Kwanza (64.5%)
3. Caleb Amisi – Saboti (58.1%)

Uasin Gishu’s best-performing MPs

1. Oscar Sudi – Kapseret (63.4%)
2. David Kiplagat – Soy (62.8%)
3. Phyllis Bartoo – Moiben (61.8%)

Nandi best-performing MPs

1. Julius Melli – Tinderet (54.6%)
2. Paul Biego – Chesumei (53.2%)
3. Maryanne Kitany – Aldai (52.1%)

Nairobi best-performing MPs

1. Babu Owino – Embakasi East (72.1%)
2. Tim Wanyonyi – Westlands (69.8%)
3. Augustine Mwafrica – Roysambu (64.7%)

Nakuru best performing MPs

1. Irene Njoki – Bahati (69.0%)
2. Kuria Kimani – Molo (64.3%)
3. Alfred Mutai – Kuresoi North (62.1%)
