Changamka Ushinde na Khetias Supermarket Promotion Creats 7 New Motor Vehicle Owners

Peter Kamau a resident of Trans Nzoia County has joined the league of motor vehicle owners in the country.

This is after he emerged as the grand winner of the Changamka Ushinde na Khetias Supermarket promotion.

Kamau was handed Daihatsu Mira which has a 659 engine capacity and consumes 5.3 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres at a colourful event held at Khetias Gigamart branch in Kitale town.

He is one of the seven people who have won vehicles during this year’s valentines period across the country.

Speaking to the press while holding his ignition key, Kamau could not hide his joy saying the 5-seater vehicle will solve his family’s travelling problems.

This is not mine, rather it belongs to my family. We will not worry anymore about rain, dust and even sunlight. This vehicle will sort out all these challenges,” Kamau said.

When he received the good news that he had won a vehicle, Kamau called his wife, Rehema Adhiambo who joined him to receive their gift.

I am a regular shopper at this supermarket and whenever I shop, I enter my reward points on his account. The points have earned us a vehicle. To me, this is my Valentine’s gift. I am just happy to say the least,” she said.

This win comes is a relief to Kamau who was under pressure from her wife to buy her vehicle.

For quite some time now, I have been pressuring him to buy me a vehicle but that pressure is now behind him. Going out as a family will now be easy and stress-free,” she said.

Changamka Ushinde na Khetias is a promotion meant to give back to our customers. We have given out several prices in all our outlets just to say thank you for supporting us throughout the year,” said Otieno.

The promotion ran from December 2024 to mid February 2025.
