Deputy President William Ruto on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, presided over the handing over ceremony of three school buses in Turbo, Uasin Gishu County.
The ceremony saw Sugoi Girls Secondary School, Chepsaita Secondary School, and Kapsaos Secondary School get the buses that were purchased in support of the Turbo National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF).

DP Ruto who was hosted by area Member of Parliament Janet Sitienei and Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago also officially opened the Turbo NG-CDF office.
In a post on his official Facebook page after the event, the DP expressed the need to invest in school infrastructure.

He said well-equipped schools motivate not only teachers but also learners.

“The experience of education is important to the learning process. This is why we must pay attention to school infrastructure and commit to its development. Well-equipped schools motivate both teachers and learners creating a strong platform for learning and growth, eventually molding strong, capable, and productive citizens,” Ruto posted on Facebook.

Mosop Member of Parliament Vincent Tuwei and former ODM Uasin Gishu Chairman David Songok who recently decamped to DP Ruto lead United Democratic Alliance (UDA) were other notable leaders present in the event held in Kamagut Ward.
