Former Kesses MP Mishra Swarrup Set to Lose Multi-Billion Eldoret Properties to Auctioneers

Former Kesses Member of Parliament Dr Swarup Mishra is on the verge of losing several properties located within Eldoret city.

The properties had been used to secure the former MP and his Mediheal Group of Hospitals loans, believed to be running into billions of shillings.

However, Mishra is reportedly unable to repay the said loans, forcing the auction of his properties.

In a notice seen by Uasin Gishu News, at least five properties owned by Mishra have been listed for auction.

The auction is set for December 10, 202,5, at Rehema House, Opposite the Japara Building along Ronald Ngala Street in Eldoret.

Which Mishra properties will be auctioned?

Among the properties listed for auction is a 0.5336-hectare piece of land opposite Little Lambs School, where the Mediheal Hospital sits on and an adjacent property measuring 0.2421 ha.

The property is a hospital facility with two major improvements, the main being a story building and the second being a double-story building with an interconnecting waiting hall and also serves as a pharmacy and laboratories,” reads part of the auction notice.

The plot is rectangular in shape with a level gradient located at Kapsoya gardens off Eldoret Town, fronting onto Nandi Road, and adjoins Naiberi Police Station directly opposite Little Lambs School,” it adds.

Both properties are registered under Mediheal Hospital and Fertility Centre Limited.

Another property owned by Mishra listed for auction is a piece of land hosting his palatial home in Elgon View estate.

The property registered under Swarup Ranjan Mishra & Pallavi measures 0.65 ha. It hosts a residential maisonette with a double-storey house, two guest houses, a gymnasium, bar, two gazebos and a water fountain.

Does Mishra own a property in Kipkorgot?

Another property located in Kipkorgot Market along Kaptagat tarmac is also up for auction alongside another one adjoining Spring Field estate of Moi University next to Milal School.

The two are used for residential and small-scale agricultural activities, although the auctioner noted that they are currently vacant.

Mishra’s 3.9 ha land in Chepsiria village, Lengut sub-location, Mogobich location in Uasin Gishu is also set to be auctioned together with a 0.1 ha land at Madona area in EATEC off Royalton Hotel junction.

They are adjoined residential plots currently used as a dairy farm, jointly improved with an office, dairy shed, calf pen, milk cooler, feed store, servant quarter and sentry box. The plots are jointly enclosed in GCI sheets on timber frames,” the auction notice said.
