Governor Bii Road Projects Bring Joy, Security and Development to Residents

For the last two years, the Governor Dr Jonathan Bii led administration has initiated several road projects aimed at transforming the entire Uasin Gishu County and boosting the local economy.

The ongoing expansion and rehabilitation of Kamukunji-St Peters Secondary school is among the projects within Kuinet Kapsuswa ward, Soy Sub County, which covers Kambi Teso, Bondeni, Kamukunji and Marakwet areas.

Residents said for many years, the road was impassable and the construction is a game changer and a fulfilment of Governor Bii’s promises as envisioned under agenda six on infrastructure development.

Joseph Ngare, a village elder in Kamukunji estate said the improved road has enabled them to easily move from one place to another.

We are grateful to governor Bii. Initially children had a problem going to school because of bad roads, bodaboda riders and vehicles couldn’t complete the journey to drop passengers to various destinations. Right now drainage works has been done properly,” Ngare explained.
