Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist Harmonize has confirmed that he will be performing at an upcoming concert in Eldoret town, Uasin Gishu County.
Konde Boy, as Harmonize is popularly referred to, will be gracing the Shujaa Pool Tournament that will be staged at one of Eldoret’s popular clubs – Tamasha Lounge.
While the four-day tournament runs from December 9, 2022, the Bongo star has his performance scheduled for December 12, 2022.
In a video that Tamasha Lounge recently shared on their Instagram account, the ‘Jeshi’ crooner confirms that he will indeed perform at the club, located on the outskirts of Eldoret Town.
“I am here to confirm that I’m goner perform in Eldoret on December 12. Tell your friend…” Konde Boys says in part of the short video.
Harmonize’s last Eldoret visit
This will be the first time that Harmonize will be performing in Eldoret since his last visit in 2018 ended controversially.
At the time, the Bongo star was to perform at the Eldoret Sports Club, but ended up failing to turn up, despite having earlier inspected the venue, and making an appearance on the streets of Eldoret town.
He later took to his Instagram account to claim that he failed to perform at the show dubbed ‘Chaget Festival’ because promoters did not keep their end of the bargain – in terms of payments agreed.
“Binafsi najua kiasi gani pesa inatafutwa kwa ugumu but kwa mapenzi yenu mlijitoa kuja kuni support sio kwasababu mie ni special sana….!!! Ni kwa upendo wenu tuu ila kilichonisikitisha ni promoters kuchukua pesa za watu wasio pungua 4000k then wakashindwa kuja kumalizia payment iliyobaki na kukimbia hii inaumiza sana…!” Harmonize explained.
The Konde Gang Music Worldwide boss will be performing in Eldoret just days after another Bongo star – Zuchu will have performed.
Zuchu had a few weeks ago announced that she will be making her maiden live performance in Eldoret town.
While the ‘Sukari’ hitmaker has not revealed details of where and when the performance will be staged, The Citizen, a Tanzanian website, says it will be on December 10.
