Jonathan Bii Visits Ailing Mzee Jackson Kibor

Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Jonathan Bii – Chelilim on Thursday paid a visit to the ailing controversial farmer and former politician Mzee Jackson Kibor.

Kibor has been unwell for a while now, and this has forced him to retreat to his rural home in Ziwa, Soy Sub County.

Jonathan Bii visited Mzee Kibor at his Kabobo home, where he said he had gone to check on his progress.

“We paid Mzee Kibor a courtesy call at his Kabobo home in Ziwa Ward of Soy Constituency to check on his progress over his considerably long period of health issues,” said the gubernatorial aspirant.

Jackson Kibor is known for making headlines with his controversial actions, the most publicized one being his decision to divorce his second wife – Josephine Jepkoech, whom they had stayed in the marriage for 52 years.

He also filed to divorce his third wife – Naomi Jeptoo.

In both applications, the court allowed for Kibor to part ways with his wives – after admitting that the marriage was irretrievable.

But even with the controversies, Jonathan Bii described Mzee Kibor as a brilliant elder who has vast experience in farming.

He owns hundreds of acres of land spread across Uasin Gishu and neighboring counties – wealth that has also been at the center of controversies with his children.

“Mzee Kibor is one tough and brilliant elder with numerous investments and vast emulation worthy experience in farming and other wealth creation ventures,” noted Jonathan Bii.

“We wish Kibor a speedy recourse to healthy and active life,” he added.

Jonathan Bii – Chelilim, alias ‘Koti Moja’ is among the front runners for the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat that has attracted over 10 aspirants.

He has already intensified his campaigns, and recently received prayers, blessings, and anointing from church leaders in an interdenominational event held at his rural village.
