Jackson Kibor is known for making headlines with his controversial actions, the most publicized one being his decision to divorce his second wife – Josephine Jepkoech, whom they had stayed in the marriage for 52 years.

But even with the controversies, Jonathan Bii described Mzee Kibor as a brilliant elder who has vast experience in farming.
He owns hundreds of acres of land spread across Uasin Gishu and neighboring counties – wealth that has also been at the center of controversies with his children.
