The Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Foundation on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, signed an MOU with CLEAN START, a social enterprise that works with women and their children impacted by the criminal justice system in a bid to restore dignity and hope for successful reintegration into society.
Through this partnership, Clean Start Kenya will work with KCB Foundation to identify girls formally prisoned for opportunities in schools, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVETs), and Enterprise Development training.

The KCB Foundation will identify and facilitate internship or industrial attachment opportunities for the beneficiaries during and after their studies to propel the gaining of hands-on experience, which is an indispensable part of vocational training.
KCB Foundation and Clean Start Kenya will also organize a mentorship programme for 2,500 students being supported under secondary, tertiary and university scholarships.

The mentorship programs will also be extended to include over 300 girls in Juvenile Justice Institutions.
