The County Government of Nandi has embarked on a major infrastructure upgrade to transform health services at Kemeloi Health Center in Kemeloi/Maraba Ward, Aldai Sub County.
The upgrading means that the level of services that the facility has been offering will now be more advanced as it will be equipped with equipment and the medical personnel befitting a level four hospital.
Speaking during an inspection tour of the Kemeloi Health Center, the Nandi County Executive Committee (CEC) Member for Health and Sanitation Ruth Koech said the hospital was being expanded as part of sustained County efforts to attain Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

“Every person in Nandi County deserves quality health care, and our government is working hard to upgrade, expand and modernize healthcare facilities and hospitals across the county,” Koech said.
Nandi Governor Stephen Sang’s administration has prioritized the improvement of health facilities to ensure access to affordable and quality medical services for the people across the county.
