At least four areas around Eldoret city will be without power for the better part of Saturday, April 26, 2025.
According to a public notice from the Kenya Power, the four areas will be without power for about 8 hours due to a planned maintenance on their power lines.
“Good Evening. The listed areas will be affected by planned power maintenance tomorrow (26th April 2025). For the advance notice, use https://shorturl.at/gbhap,” the company said in a post on its verified Facebook page.
Which Eldoret areas will be without power?
The four areas are Kipkenyo, Kosyin, Leseru and Seiyot.
Kenya Power customers around the listed areas will also experience interruption in power supply.
The maintenance is planned to start at 8.00 am and end by 5.00 pm.
Kenya Power usually conducts scheduled maintainance of its lines across the country.
The state-owned company informs the public of any planned power maintenance.
