Kenya Weather Forecast for July 2026

The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority has indicated that in July 2026, several parts of the country will be generally dry and sunny.

However, the authority noted that intermittent cool and cloudy conditions accompanied by light rains are expected to prevail in counties in the Central Highlands and Nairobi area and some counties in the Southeastern lowlands, western Kenya and central Rift Valley during the month.

Counties in the Highlands west of the Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin, Central and Southern Rift Valley are likely to receive below average rainfall.

The weatherman further noted that the northwestern region is likely to remain generally dry, though a few areas bordering Uganda and South Sudan may experience occasional rainfall that is expected to be below average.

In addition, the Coastal strip is likely to receive near-to-above average rainfall.

Temperatures are expected to be warmer than usual across the whole country,” the authority said.

Weather forecast for first week of July 2026

Meanwhile, the weatherman released a daily forecast for the next seven days, covering the first week of July 2026.

According to the forecast released on June 2, 2026, most parts of the country are likely to be generally dry.

Rainfall is mainly expected over the Rift Valley, Nyanza, Western and Central Kenya,” the weatherman said.

Intermittent cool and cloudy conditions are also expected in some parts of the Rift Valley, Central, Western, Southeastern and Northeastern Kenya.
