A new commercial building – Olive City Plaza, has officially opened its doors in Eldoret town, the Uasin Gishu County’s capital.
Eldoret town has continued to be the investors’ top choice for investments. This is after World Bank’s ratings as the best investment Hub across the Country in ease of doing business.
While Commissioning the new building that sits in the heart of Eldoret town, Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno noted the County’s commitment to offering a conducive working environment to all investors that sets their businesses in town.
The Olive City Plaza, located opposite The Anchor, another recent multi-story building, does not only bring a facelift to the County but also will help spur the economy since it will host both small and medium businesses.
Governor Jackson Mandago’s administration has on numerous occasions affirmed its commitment to supporting upcoming entrepreneurs through ‘Inua Biashara Fund’ and cooperative societies, Saccos, and organized groups through ‘Enterprise Development Fund’.
Present during the opening of the newest plaza were Uasin Gishu County Executive Committee Member for Trade Dr. Emily Kogos and her Environment counterpart Mary Njogu.
The opening of the Olive City Plaza comes just weeks after another new commercial building – AIC-K Business Centre (Imani House), along Elija Cheruiyot Street was officially opened.
