A newly constructed AIC-K Business Centre (Imani House) in Eldoret town has officially been opened.
The new building whose construction works started about a year ago was opened on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, by Uasin Gishu County Executive Committee Member for Trade, Industrialization and Information Communication Technology (ICT) Dr. Emily Kogos.
Owned by the African Inland Church of Kenya (AIC-Kenya), the AIC-K Business Centre (Imani House) was constructed following the demolition of an old building that was sitting on the plot along Elijah Cheruiyot Street.
Speaking during the event, the Trade CECM said the County Government of Uasin Gishu has put in place structures and mechanisms that have helped transform Eldoret town to the current state of being a commercial hub in the North Rift region.

Dr. Kogos also thanked the AIC church for coming up with such an investment challenging other denominations to follow suit in making sure that they have such initiatives that are beneficial to their churches.
The opening of the AIC-K Business Centre (Imani House) comes just months after the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) commissioned the construction of ACK Plaza in Eldoret town.

The Eldoret Catholic Diocese is also planning to start constructing a commercial building on its Sacred Heart Cathedral compound.
The building has been named St John Amani Centre, in honor of the late Bishop Cornelius Korir who spearheaded peace-building activities in the North Rift region during his tenure.
