Uasin Gishu Health Services County Executive Committee Member (CECM) Abraham Serem has urged members of the public to register with the Social Health Authority.
This, the CECM said will enable them to unlock vital medical services.
Addressing a sensitization meeting with facility incharges in Eldoret City on November 6, 2024, Serem noted that access to essential healthcare under the new system requires registration and the payment of annual premiums.
“Registration is not just a formality, but it’s your gateway to comprehensive healthcare, and the more people who register, the stronger our healthcare services will become,” the county executive said.
He further pointed out the critical role of information dissemination in the initiative, encouraging facility in charges to educate their committee members about the numerous benefits of their membership.
“A well-informed community is empowered to make better health choices,” Serem said.
In addition, the health county executive assured that necessary medical equipment will be installed in facilities across the county.
