Revealed: 20 Best Performing Governors (LIST)

A latest survey on the governor’s performance for the last over six months has rated the 20 best performing ones.

The survey conducted by Politrack Africa was released on Friday.

It rated the performance of the county bosses since they formally took over power after the August 2022 general election.

Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza was rated as the best with 53.7 percent approval followed by Mombasa’s Abdulswamad Nassir with 52.2 per cent rating.

In the list of the 20 Governor’s ranked as the best performing by Politrack Africa, there are only two from the North Rift region.

Elgeyo Marakwet’s Wesley Rotich had a rating of 49.8 percent to be top performing governor in North Rift and fifth nationality.

George Natembeya is the other Governor from the region at number 19 on the list with 44.0 per cent rating.

From the Rift Valley region, only Jonathan Lati Lelelit of Samburu at 48.5 percent and Susan Kihika (47.9 percent) are also listed.

Gladys Wanga tops the list for the Nyanza region governors while Fernands Barasa of Kakamega is the only one from Western Kenya to make to the list.
