Saboti Constituency Member of Parliament, Caleb Amisi has called on President William Ruto to make good use of his Cabinet Secretaries instead of carrying all the government’s burden alone.
Speaking at Weonia area of Kiminini Constituency, Trans Nzoia County, Amisi said President Ruto’s presence in almost every function is reducing his popularity and political relevance.
The vocal lawmaker blamed advisors of the President for letting down him and his administration.
“As ODM, we are told we’re part of this government but I don’t understand how. However, this government has very many ministers but they are not advising our President properly,” Amisi said.

The legislator serving his second term in the National Assembly said it is the responsibility of the advisors to protect the name and reputation of the President.
“As country, we only have one President and that is William Ruto. I get worried whenever I hear Kenyans call him (Ruto) all sorts of names because some people are not doing what they are expected to do,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Amisi expressed his confidence in Raila Odinga’s African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship bid.
“Although Baba (Raila Odinga) has lost five elections, we are sure he is going to bring home the AUC chairmanship and he will serve Africa diligently,” the ODM legislator said.
Amisi, a serious critic of Kenya Kwanza regime further urged Kenyans to live peacefully and in unity.
“Trans Nzoia as is known is a small Kenya where all communities live. It is only good that we live as brothers and sisters for economic growth and meaningful development,” he appealed.
