Residents of Trans Nzoia can now access all government services from the newly completed county headquarters in Kitale.
Governor George Natembeya on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, said the new county headquarters will have each department, a move that will make work effective and efficient.
The Governor spoke during a prayer service to bless the building which has also paved way for it’s occupation.

Governor Natembeya also reminded Trans Nzoia residents that employees need a good working environment to serve them well, which confirms the benefits of the new premises.
“Since devolution began almost 13 years ago,this is the first building to be completed on time,” the county boss said.
Governor Natembeya took over his new office on the second floor of the Building after the prayers.
Other government officials especially those who have been using town Hall offices will be shifting starting Thursday, July 24, 2025.

The new county 6-storied headquarters was constructed at Ksh 500 million.
Works were completed in a record 21 months.
The Kitale Town Hall which has been the Trans Nzoia county headquarters since 2013 will now be converted into a library and a recreational park.
