CECM Kirui regretted that the lack of information on bursaries and scholarships by the boy’s family made the boy to lag.

Kirui disclosed that he was the mother to the learner who brewed and sold chang’aa, an illicit liquor, and was arrested and jailed in the year he completed his exams.

The mother was released this year.
