FuConstitutional lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi now says politicians who lost in the August 9 general election should not be considered for Principal Secretary (PS) positions.
The senior counsel argues that Kenyans already found the said politicians unfit for public office.

This come just hours after the Public Service Commission (PSC) published a list of 477 Kenyans that had been shortlisted for the positions of Principal Secretaries in the Kenya Kwanza government.
Further, the list was on Saturday reviewed to 588 candidates.
Among those listed include the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Chief Executive Officer Dr Wilson Aruasa, Rift Valley Textiles Company (Rivatex) Managing Director Prof. Thomas Kipkurgat and Kenya Teachers Technical Training Institute (KTTI) Principal Edwin Tarno who formerly served as the Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI) Principal.
There are also a number of politicians shortlisted.
Politicians eye PS seats
They include former governors Cleophas Lagat (Nandi) and Samuel Tunai (Narok).
Also listed is Former Langa’ata MP Nixon Korir and former Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa.

Korir lost to ODM’s Jalang’o in Langa’ata while Wamalwa failed in his Trans Nzoia gubernatorial bid.
Other politicians on the list are former Nairobi Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke, former Embu County Assembly Speaker Justus Kariuki Mate, and former MPs Chris, Ahmed Kolosh Mohamed (Wajir West), Sylvanus Maritim (Ainamoi), Tokei Nyitore Loten (Baringo North), Vincent M’Maitsi (Hamisi) and Michael Kingi (Magarini).
Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to interviews that the PSC will be conducting from October 12, 2022.
Thereafter, names of successful candidates will be forwarded to President William Ruto for apportionment to various state departments.
