The Ministries of Health from Angola and Kenya have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the health sector.
This MoU, signed by Tete Antonio, Minister for External Relations, and Nakhumicha S. Wafula, Cabinet Secretary for Health, at State House Nairobi, aims to promote health and support healthcare workers’ rights.
It covers various areas of collaboration, including health professional training, workforce deployment, disease control, health financing, and more.
The agreement also establishes a Joint Implementation Committee to oversee its execution and follows internationally recognized principles.
The MoU initially spans five years, with provisions for renewal and termination upon signature.
