Speaking after the emphatic win, Bungoma Queens’ head coach Eric Wafula said his team went into the game well prepared.

Bungoma Queens scored six goals in the second half.

What we were focusing on is how many goals are we going to score,” Wafula said.

He also hinted that they are eyeing the FKF Women’s Division One Zone B League title this season.

They currently sit second of the table with 29 points.

We had morale of winning,” said Bungoma Queens captain Esther Kiberenge.

It was a first game for new Solasa Stima Starlets coach Tony Kimungui who believes the team will be better as he gets to know the players.

Kimungui joined the team last week from Royal Starlets.

We have lost terribly. First half the game was good. We had already gained momentum. Consistence was fine but in the second half we had several injuries,” noted Solasa team captain Rabecca Opilo.

Solasa who remain sixth on the FKF Women’s Division One Zone B League will next week be away to Madira while Bungoma Queens will be hosts to Nyuki Starlets.
