Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi is one of the politicians that are close to President William Ruto.
The closeness of the two did not start the other day – he has been one of the key defenders of the Head of State, way before he was confirmed the fifth President.
He is also a silent figure in business deals involving the president – having been pictured on numerous occasions accompanying him abroad and within East Africa to meet investors.
And with Ruto now at the helm of the country’s leadership, Sudi is one of those politicians that will regularly be seen next to him at public events.
Perhaps in the latest indication that he is not about to leave the president’s side, the two-time legislator on Friday, September 16, 2022, boarded the Kenya Airforce Helicopter with Ruto as he headed to Naivasha.
Legislators allied to Kenya Kwanza are in Naivasha for a Parliamentary Group meeting that President Ruto who doubles up as the coalition’s leader will be addressing.
Not every politician can be allowed to use a Kenya Airforce Helicopter unless it is from an express directive from the Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF).
Primarily, only the president and Kenya Airforce personnel can use these kinds of helicopters.
For the Kapseret MP to be among the few Kenya Kwanza politicians to have a taste of the military facility, just shows how close to power he is.
