The composition of the county government of Uasin Gishu is almost complete.
Governor Jonathan Bii recently nominated additional Chief Officers to fill up positions that had been omitted in the initial list of 13 nominees that have since been approved by the County Assembly.
The county boss named 5 additional Chief Officers – nominees that were last week vetted by various departmental committees at the Assembly.
Of the five nominees, four were men and one woman.

Here is the list of the five new Chief Officer nominees that have since been vetted, awaiting approval from the Members of the County Assembly;
- Elphas Kesio – Tourism, Trade and Industrialization
- Nathan Korir – Lands and Physical Planning
- Abraham Kiptalam – Roads, Transport and Public Works
