MP Mishra Shares Gifts, Foodstuffs to 10,000 Constituents

Over 10,000 households in the Kesses constituency started the New Year a happy lot after benefiting from gifts and foodstuffs donated by area Member of Parliament Dr. Swarrup Mishra.

Mishra flagged off tens of Lorries and pickups carrying the foodstuffs and gifts on Friday, December 31, 2021.

The donations were then delivered to the 10,000 beneficiaries by multiple volunteers.

In a post on his verified Facebook page, Dr. Mishra said the donations were his way of thanking the people of Kesses for trusting in his leadership.

He said, if he had the ability, he would personally deliver the gifts and foodstuffs to each of the 10,000 households.

“IT’S TIME TO GIVE BACK & SHARE SOME LOVE. Today by the grace of God, we flagged off a fleet full of gifts & foodstuff for my wonderful constituents of Kesses,” the MP said in part of his post on Facebook.

If I had the ability to be omnipresent, I would have personally delivered the packages to each of you just to say ‘Thank You for trusting and believing in me’ for yet another year,” he added.

The MP who is serving his first term in Parliament also thanked all that supported the initiative to share some love with the less fortunate in Kesses Constituency.

Mishra is expected to seek re-election in the upcoming poll scheduled for August 2022.

It is however still unclear on which party he will be using to ask for a second term from the electorate.
