My Competitors Are Already In Panic Mode – Amb. Sarah Serem

Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Amb. Sarah Serem is promising her competitors a bruising battle.

Amb. Serem who is planning for her homecoming, expected to be held this February says the people of Uasin Gishu are ready for her leadership.

In a post on her official Facebook page, the former Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) further says her competitors have already panicked over the gubernatorial contest.

“Good people of Uasingishu. The countdown begins, of #thegreathomecoming, The ground is ready! My competitors are already in panic mode,” Amb. Serem noted in the post.

She is now rallying her supporters to brace themselves for a great battle ahead.

Amb. Sarah Serem is running on the promise of transforming Uasin Gishu County.

“We have begun the journey of Transforming Uasingishu by focusing on our goals, values, and agendas. This transformative journey will not be easy but let us find strength in the book of 1st Cor 16:13 “Watch, stand strong in the faith, be bold, be strong.”,” she noted in the post.

Good people, I promise you that We shall make it together.! As long as you believe!” Amb. Sarah Serem added.

The former SRC boss recently returned back to the country from China, where she has been serving as a Kenyan ambassador. Her homecoming is expected to signal her official start of the campaigns and hopes to become the first Uasin Gishu County woman governor.

She is seeking to succeed Governor Jackson Mandago who has served for the last two terms.

Amb. Serem will be battling several other candidates for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.

Others in the race include Jonathan Bii Chelilim, Soy MP Caleb Kositany, Prof. Julius Bitok, Ng’enyilel MCA David Sing’oei, and Nairobi Devolution Executive Veska Kangogo.

UDA party is expected to hold its primaries between March and April 2022, as per the IEBC guidelines.
