Naivas Supermarket has opened its fourth outlet in Eldoret town.
The new outlet located along the Eldoret-Kapsabet road, next to the Eldoret Sports Club, was opened on Friday, September 9, 2022.
It targets to serve locals within the Elgon View, Racecourse and Pioneer estates on the outskirts of Eldoret town.
Supermarket’s Marketing Manager Jacinta Wainaina says the Naivas Elgon View outlet has been opened after a request from locals within the area.

“This supermarket is born out of requests by residents and with population and Eldoret town growing, we have always done the research and get feedback from customers,” Wainaina said.
“We are glad we have delivered an outlet for them,” she added.
Further, the Naivas Elgon View is the 75th outlet for the Supermarket across the country. It follows the 2021 opening of the Naivas Zion Mall outlet at the heart of Eldoret town.
Other Naivas outlets in Eldoret town are the ones located opposite Trocadero Bus Stop and the Naivas Market outlet.
More to come
But even with the latest outlet, the supermarket’s marketing manager says they are working on opening two more – one in Meru and the other in Ojijo.

The Naivas Elgon View outlet is located within a heavily residential area and the supermarket hopes to tap into the demand of those within the area.
“There is that convenience that we’re bringing to people around here as well as our competitive pricing,” said Wainaina.
Among the products at the newest supermarket in Eldoret include fresh produce, butchery, grains, bakery, electronics and home appliances.

“This is a fully-fledged supermarket,” said the Naivas Marketing Manager.
Eldoret has been rated among the fastest-growing urban areas in the country.
According to the 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census, Eldoret is the fifth most populated urban area in the country after Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru and Ruiru.
Meanwhile, the town is currently angling to be the fifth city after Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru which was conferred city status on December 1, 2021.
