The National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) April 2023 trade test series was on Wednesday officially launched by the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social protection Florence Bore.
Speaking during the official launch at Cheptarit Vocational Training Centre in Chesumei Sub County, the CS urged the parents to invest much on the technical course saying that the Country is heading towards that direction of technical skills.
“Our Country and more so the Kenya Kwanza Government is now investing more on these technical courses like electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry,” CS Bore said.
She further urged the learners to concentrate more on the skills acquisition for the betterment of their future.

NITA is conducting the April 2023 trade test series in 438 examination centres countrywide with 21,670 candidates and three series conducted in a year, that is in April, August and December.
The Cabinet Secretary was accompanied by the NITA Director General Engineer Stephen Ogenga.
Also present were Nandi Deputy Governor Dr. Yulita Cheruiyot, CECM Education and Vocational Training Scolastica Tuwei, and Chief Officer Joseph Cheruiyot.

Others were Chief Officer Cooperative Development Caroline Lagat, Director Vocational Training Centre Julius Too as well as Director ECDE Samwel Biwott.
