The Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) has appointed Peter Kibet Arap Biwott as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
He previously served as the Managing Director of the Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company (Eldowas).
ISK, in a statement on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 said Biwott, who brings over 20 years of experience in public, private, and international development service, is expected to drive their strategic vision and growth.
“With an undergraduate degree in Economics from Kenyatta University and a Master of Arts in International Development Studies (Economics of Development) from the International Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, Biwott is well-equipped for the role,” the organisation said.

He has also undertaken specialized training in areas such as Strategic Leadership Management, Corporate Governance, and Public Finance.
ISK highlighted Biwott’s impressive credentials, stating, “The CEO comes in with a wealth of experience of over 20 years in public, private and international development service.”
His leadership is expected to strengthen ISK’s role in shaping the surveying and land management sector in Kenya.
Currently finalizing his PhD in Environmental Economics at the University of Eldoret, Biwott’s expertise aligns with ISK’s commitment to sustainable development and policy growth. The institution has called on its members to support him in his new role.
