Royal Starlets stung hosts Nyuki Starlets 2-0 on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Shikomari primary school to be crowned Women Division One Bone B league champions.
The away team needed maximum points to secure their direct slot promotion to the Kenya Women Premier League.
Agneta Makonjo struck twice to extend her goal tally to sixteen as she sank the hosts in a hotly contested match.
The match was level at halftime as both teams’ defences outsmarted the hungry attacking forces.

Makonjo converted a penalty after being brought down in the six-yard box three minutes past the hour mark.
She later pulled the second goal fifteen minutes to stoppage time from a long volley to bag the deserved victory for the Kitale-based side.
Elsewhere in Opanga Primary School, hosts Gideons Starlets were humbled to a 1-1 draw by ninth-placed Gusii starlets.
Gideons needed a straight win to be promoted to the top tier but the draw now throws their chances of promotion playoffs into limbo.
Fourth-placed Oserian ladies have a chance to return to the premier league if they register any win with a five-goal difference.

After a 2-0 win against Bungoma Queens, Oserian ladies now moved to the fourth position with 21 points and a convincing win for them will see them leapfrog Gideons on goal difference.
Meanwhile, Solasa Stima Queens beat rivals Eldoret Falcons 2-0 as they completed a double against their neighbours.
Both goals came through in the first half as Mildred Amila and Cynthia Matekwa had a goal each from solo efforts.
