Iten County Referral Hospital (ICRH) is set to benefit from Ampath Kenya/Moi University Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) teleconference center.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed at the Iten-based ICRH on Wednesday paves way for the establishment of the center expected to be officially launched by February 2022.
ECHO is a model for sharing knowledge amid improving capacity to provide best medical practices all over the World.

Elgeyo Marakwet County Health and Sanitation Chief Officer Mary Kipchumba said the teleconferencing center will go a long way in handling different patients’ cases across the County with ease.
