Police officers in Kaimosi area, Nandi County have launched a manhunt for a 17-year-old male suspect believed to have killed his cousin on Sunday evening.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) says the two were arguing over charging a mobile phone before the incident turned tragic.
A victim, 31-year-old, that police have since identified as Josphat Kibet, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Kapsabet County Referral Hospital.

DCI says the deceased had an arrow wound inflicted on him by the juvenile that is currently on the run.
“Preliminary investigations indicate that the two had argued over who would charge their phone first, before the young man reached for an arrow, and stabbed the deceased on the left side of his chest before taking off,” the DCI said.
A chase for the suspect is currently ongoing.
