Bii to County Staff, Kenyans: Register for Affordable Housing Program

As President Dr William Ruto continues to actualize the government’s ambitious program of building affordable houses for Kenyans, Uasin Gishu County Governor Dr Jonathan Bii and his deputy Engineer John Barorot have encouraged interested staff and residents to register for the affordable housing contribution Boma Yangu portal.

While addressing County staff under the Department of Roads, Transport and Public Works at the county Yard, Governor Bii explained the importance of starting early contributions to secure an affordable house within the urban set-up.

I encourage all of you to start making your contributions for affordable housing slowly. It’s high time we realised the importance of not constructing houses on the little land we have in our areas and utilising it only for agricultural purposes for economic empowerment, ” Governor Bii advised.
