I Mobilized Crowd for Baba When He Came To Eldoret – Oscar Sudi

Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has claimed responsibility for the huge crowd that welcomed opposition leader Raila Odinga in Eldoret town.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader was in Eldoret, the hometown of Deputy President William Ruto, a week ago for his Azimio la Umoja tours.

He received a warm reception from locals, despite the area being considered a stronghold of the DP.

Sudi, one of Ruto’s allies, now claims he is the one who mobilized the huge crowd.

Raila when he addressed locals in Eldoret town recently.

He made the remarks on his official Facebook page when hitting out at blogger Robert Alai for allegedly spreading propaganda against United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and its allied leaders.

“We in UDA shall not fall to your cheap propaganda and stupidity like those surrounding Baba while spoiling for him. For your information I mobilized crowd for Baba when he came to Eldoret,” the vocal legislator posted on Facebook.

Sudi further says he has been helping Raila, and even advising him on some matters, unlike a number of Rift Valley politicians surrounding him with nothing to offer, apart from misleading the ODM supremo.

“I personally talk to Baba directly, I even advise him on some of the issues and he listens to me,” said the MP who enjoys a good family relationship with Raila despite being on opposing political sides.
