Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has opened a new dispensary at Kipegaa village in Kapsimotwa Ward. This is in a bid to enhance access to affordable healthcare.
Kiptegaa Dispensary will now offer the much-needed relief for area residents who have been travelling long distances to access healthcare services.
While presiding over the dispensary’s opening ceremony, Governor Sang said that the completion and operationalization of the facility marked a great milestone in his quest for improved primary healthcare provision in the county.
The governor said that towards the achievement of universal health coverage, his administration has invested heavily in infrastructural development and equipping of various health facilities.
He was flanked by the Nandi County Executive Committee Members (CECM) for Health and Sanitation Ruth Koech, Dr Philemon Bureti (Lands), and Elly Kurgat (Sports ) among other Government officials.
