Major Road Challenges Solved, Residents Appreciate Fulfillment of Nguzo No.6

Residents of Lessos Farm and Lower Baraka Land in Ngeria ward, Kapseret Sub County are now happy after the completion of grading and graveling works along the Kapkobil-Cheplaskei road.

Evelyne Ng’etich, a resident of Kapkobil village thanked the County government for moving swiftly to repair the road which had become impassable and hindered the transportation of goods and services.

She, however, asked for culvert installation along the road.

In Sergoit Ward, Moiben Sub County the county installed a significant number of culverts to channel water away from the roads and allow accessibility of the road in the Chemarmar area where residents relied on a temporary wooden footbridge which was dangerous.

Other major achievements by Governor Jonathan Bii’s administration through the Department of Roads, Transport and Public Works include the completion of Kapkures-Kipsomba Box Culvert in Soy Sub County, Kaoni Box Culvert in Kaptagat ward, Ainabkoi Sub County as well as Vumilia Box Culvert in Kipsomba ward, Soy Sub County.
