The County Government of Nandi is planning to expand the Mosoriot Sub County Hospital.
This is what Governor Stephen Sang says is aimed at ensuring enhanced health services that will also meet the huge demand.
In a post on his verified Facebook page, Sang noted that there has been an increasing demand for medical services not only at the Mosoriot Sub County Hospital but also across other cunty health facilities.

“There is an increasing demand for health and medical services at Mosoriot Sub County Hospital and other health facilities. It is in this regard that we are deliberately undertaking an expansion of this facility for enhanced quality services to meet this huge demand for services,” noted the county boss.
He further revealed that the county had received medical equipment for the newly established theatre with a High Dependency Unit (HDU) for the hospital.
The equipment received were for the medical waste management unit, radiology, laboratory, imaging ICU beds, and mother and baby unit among other services.

“This is through the partnership of the French government and our county government,” he said.
Governor Sang has for the last few years invested in improving health services for the locals.
He was re-elected on August 9, 2022, general election for the second term.
The Mosoriot Sub County Hospital is located in Lelmoko/Ngechek (Mosoriot Centre, Along Eldoret-Kapsabet High Way in the Chesumei constituency.
