President Ruto’s Foreign Trips Are Beneficial, Kwanza MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi

Kwanza Constituency Member of Parliament Ferdinand Wanyonyi has defended President William Ruto’s foreign trips.

Speaking when he issued a Ksh7 million cheque for the construction of classrooms at St. Francis Kolongolo Girls’ Secondary School, Wanyonyi said Ruto’s trips are beneficial to the people of Kenya.

I have heard people saying the President’s trips are not beneficial. Let me tell you our President is not a tourist rather, he has secured and sealed deals, our youths will be flying abroad to work and we shall have foreign remittances to build our economy,โ€ the MP said.

The lawmaker, allied to the FORD Kenya party under Kenya Kwanza Alliance further said President Ruto is exploring foreign markets for products produced and made in Kenya as well as wooing foreign investors.

The President is busy identifying markets for our products. At the sameย time, through his trips, he is identifying potential investors who will invest in our country and give our youths employment opportunities,” he added.

Kwanza MP: Cost of living being addressed

He also called on Kenyans to be patient as the Kenya Kwanza administration looks for a lasting solution to the high cost of living.

We all agree there is a problem with the cost of living but the good thing is that the government has a good plan to lower it through several Interventions like fertilizer subsidy program.” ~ Kwanza MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi.

Meanwhile, the MP appealed to youths who missed out on university placement to join Technical and Vocational Institutions so that they can get Technical skills.

On his part, Kwanza Deputy County Commissioner Steven Kavulu called on members of the public to utilize the Christmas holiday responsibly.

While you celebrate this festive season, please do it with moderation remembering January is just around the corner. Back to school will be knocking on your door,” Kavulu appealed.
