Results for All Elective Seats in Elgeyo Marakwet County

UDA party scooped a majority of elective seats in Elgeyo Marakwet County in the soon-to-be concluded 2022 General Elections.

But unlike Uasin Gishu and Nandi Counties where independent candidates were floored for all top positions, a number of them managed to withstand the ‘yellow wave’ in the county.

  • Wisely Rotich (UDA) – 147,706 votes
  • Anthony Chelimo (Vision Party) – 11,759 votes
  • Moses Changwony (Independent) – 1,763 votes
  • Tabitha Seii – 1,094 votes

Elgeyo Marakwet Senate seat results

  • Kipchumba Murkomen (UDA) – 141,091 votes
  • Kipkosgei Kipruto – 1,043 votes
  • Marimoi Hillary – 2,382 votes
  • Alex Tolgos (Jubilee) – 20,684 votes
  • Yego Peter Kaino – 840 votes

Elgeyo Marakwet County Woman MP results

  • Caroline Ngelechei (Independent) – 104,928 votes
  • Jane Kiptoo (UDA) – 58,928 votes
  • Rose Kipchumba (Independent) – 1,779 votes

  • Adams Kipsanai (UDA) – 26,560 votes
  • Dr James Murgor (Independent) – 11,213 votes
  • William Kipruto (KANU) – 310 votes

  • Kangogo Bowen (UDA) – 16,185 votes
  • Lawrence Mutwol(IND) – 15,864 votes
  • Dorcas Tererwo (IND) – 108 votes
  • Abraham Talel (KANU) – 403 votes
  • Edwin Kutwo – 559 votes
  • Nixon Yegon – 68 votes
Marakwet West Constituency
  • Timothy Toroitich (independent ) – 24,563 votes
  • William Kisang (UDA) – 15,481 votes
  • David Sudi (Independent) – 227 votes
Keiyo South Constituency
  • Gideon Kimaiyo (UDA) – 35,881 votes
  • Micah Kigen (Kanu) – 12,068 votes
