Treasury Cabinet Secretary on Thursday, April 7, 2022, presented to the National Parliament a budget statement for the financial year 2022/2023.
The Ksh3.1 trillion budget was presented earlier due to the upcoming general election scheduled for August 9, 2022.

- Judiciary – 18.9 billion
- Counties – Ksh370 billion
- Universal Health Care – Ksh62.3 billion
- Manufacturing – Ksh10.1 billion
- Food and Nutrition Security – Ksh46.8 billion
- Affordable Housing – Ksh27.7 billion
- Kazi Mtaani – Ksh2.1 billion
- Education – Ksh513 billion
- Ministry of Defense – Ksh128.4 billion
- National Intelligence Services (NIS) – Ksh46.4 billion
- Kenya Police and Kenya Prisons Services – 2 billion
- IEBC – Ksh9 billion
