Revenue target for Uasin Gishu County

The county aims to generate at least Ksh 1.4 billion in revenue by the end of the current financial year, which concludes on June 30, 2025.

He further noted the notable performance of the Single Business Permits (SBPs) docket, which raised Ksh 206 million in the last financial year, and emphasized that the target for the current year is Ksh 400 million.

To streamline revenue collection, key strategies discussed included enhancing compliance, motivating staff, improving officer mobility, training on the finance bill, and strengthening services at ward and sub-county levels.

Currently, the county service center is focused on renewing licenses, while preparations are underway to onboard necessary items for issuing 2025 licenses into the revenue system.
