West Pokot County Sign MoU with ACK’s ADS

The County Government of West Pokot and Anglican Development Services (ADS), North Rift Region has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that caters to various collaborative areas.

County Secretary Eng. John Karamunya and ADS North Rift Region Director Peter Nyorsok represented the County Government of West Pokot and ADS, North Rift Region respectively while being attested by the County Attorney, Robert Katina, Assistant Director, Administrative Services Resource Mobilization and Donor Coordination Musa Lorisa among other administration officials from the two organization.

Anglican Development Services is a faith-based organization established in 1983 and registered in 1997 within the republic of Kenya.

ADS-North Rift Region is the development arm of the Anglican Church of Kenya serving the ACK Diocese of Eldoret, Kitale, Kapenguria, and Lodwar Missionary areas.

Under the MoU, ADS-North Rift Region and the County Government of West Pokot will form a joint collaboration and work on having a joint developed proposal for a period of 5 years to contribute towards improving the quality of life of West Pokot County residents in various sectors.

Some of the sectors that the two will be partnering in include capacity building, economic empowerment, health, water and sanitation, sustainable resource management, emergency response, youth empowerment, peace building, conflict transformation, gender quality, and HIV/AIDS.
