Women Urged To Prioritize Societal Development

Women in Nandi County have been called to put in more effort in the quest to develop their societies, regardless of their social status.

While representing Governor Stephen Sang at a women’s meeting held in Tulon, the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Health and Sanitation Ruth Koech stated that women have the aptitude to effect change in society and can also transform the space they find themselves in.

She also advised the women to take the education of their children very seriously to support them no matter the professions they choose.

This will encourage children to work harder to make society a better place,” she said.

Addressing the women, Rev Capt Saina delivered a message on parenting, stable homes, a good foundation for children, and social, spiritual, and physical holistic growth.

Rev Capt Saina also touched on leadership that makes a difference for the community, wisdom, and forgiveness.
