Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii Chelilim has highlighted the need to have Eldoret town put in an order now that it is gearing towards the attainment of city status.
Chelilim who spoke on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, during a meeting with County Inspectorate Officers reiterated that business entities must be maintained to realize equality across traders urging bodaboda operators and hawkers to work within their designated areas.
The county boss further challenged the Inspectorate and the national government administration officers to always do their work diligently within the law especially when carrying out operations.
“There’s already a conducive business environment for our traders and investors and it is within our role to make sure that order of doing business is maintained across the town,” added Chelilim.
