Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Arap Bii Tuesday, September 20, 2022, hosted a joint delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Kenya Institute of Business Training (KIBT).
The team is in the county on a mission to seek collaboration with the County Government to introduce training programs that will see young participants trained to acquire professional skills and get involved in industrial development and enhance enterprise competitiveness in the county.
JICA Kenya Chief Representative Iwama Hajime hailed the existing collaboration for the robust activities in private sector development, agriculture, water and technology sectors.
On his part, Governor Bii assured the delegation of continued cooperation between his administration and the agencies in promoting development programs that will transform the livelihoods of the people of Uasin Gishu.
