Newly sworn in Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii Chelilim popularly known as Koti Moja has promised to take the shortest time possible to settle down.
Koti Moja officially took over as the second governor of Uasin Gishu on August 25, 2022.
A day later, he hosted a thanksgiving Prayer Service at Kapsang AIC Church in Soy Sub County.

Later, their was a reception at his rural home where he promised to get to work as soon as possible.
“My administration will use the shortest time possible to settle down and get to work as immediate as possible,” Koti Moja said.
And with his deputy Eng. John Barorot, the county boss also committed to keeping all the promises he had.
The governor pegged his campaign on a 10-point agenda dubbed ‘Nguzo Kumi’.

“Together with my deputy, guided by the “Nguzo Kumi” blue print we will serve our people as promised in our campaigns,” Koti Moja assured.
During the thanksgiving prayers, the new Uasin Gishu Governor also thanked locals for a peaceful election.
The county was among those listed among the high-risk in election-related violence.
“I had a wonderful time with my neighbors, family, relatives, friends and the great people of Uasin Gishu who fellowshipped with us,” he said.

“We have a lot to thank our Lord for, he granted us a peaceful election and transition,” added Koti Moja.
He takes over the Uasin Gishu County leadership from Jackson Mandago who is the Senator-elect.
