Former Uasin Gishu Senatorial seat candidate Oliver Kipchumba Karori is officially off the market.
Karori who is the legal advisor at the Office of the President married the love of his life – Dorothy Chepchumba – in an exquisite wedding held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Nairobi on Friday, May 31, 2024.
Several top political leaders who attended the wedding have shared photos of the wedding while wishing the young lawyer the best in his new life.

Among those who attended the event were Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Governors Jonathan Bii (Uasin Gishu) and Wisely Rotich (Elgeyo Marakwet).
“To Oliver Kipchumba Karori and your beloved wife Dorothy Chepchumba, congratulations on your union today at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Nairobi,” Governor Bii said in a post on his Facebook page.

“May your life together be filled with endless love and prosperity,” he added.
Karori Vs Mandago
In the 2022 general election, Karori gave Senator Jackson Mandago a run for his money on the senatorial contest during the UDA party primaries.

He finished second but claimed the polls were rigged in favour of the then Governor.
Initially, Kipchumba Karori challenged the results before the UDA Elections Disputes Resolution before finally agreeing to drop the matter.

It is unclear whether he still had political ambitions ahead of the 2027 general election.
