Easter Holiday is here with us again, and this time around, it looks like it will be an eventful one for those planning to be within or around Eldoret, the City of Champions.
In recent years, Eldoret has been emerging as a new entertainment hub in the region, and what a better way to experience it than this holiday.
Two of the arguably biggest Kenyan musicians will be in town this Easter – songbird Sanaipei Tande and Heart the band, a hugely popular live fusion trio from Nairobi.
Multi-talented Sana will be performing at The Midnight Tavern (TMT) Lounge on Saturday.
“@sanaipei.tande and international Dj @djbabudubai will be shutting the house down this Saturday. This is one for the books weeh!” TMT posted on their official Instagram account.
TMT which is among the popular clubs in Eldoret is located along the Eldoret-Kapsabet highway.
The same night Sanaipei Tande will be at TMT, Heart the band will be having a live performance at Tamasha, just along the same route.
“Live the party, Love the party, be the party. We link up for the “It’s Going Down In Walker Town” Experience on Saturday. Live performance by @Dj Protege alongside @Heart The Band @djprotegekenya @h_arttheband,” Tamasha notes on their Instagram account.
It will be up to you to pick which one of the two artists and clubs fits your taste.
For Easter Sunday, it will be a good day if you’re a reggae music lover.
Renowned radio and television presenter who has been in the limelight almost all her life, Talia Oyando will be at Tamasha.
“Back to back reggae!! That’s what tamasha Eldoret will be giving you on Easter Sunday. Because you can’t get enough, it’s always served in huge doses. Citizen TV’s ONE LOVE HOST Talia Oyando is Scheduled to host the night @talliaoyando @talldjsmash @mc_masilver,” reads a poster on Tamasha’s social media pages.
That would definitely be a perfect way to run down the Easter Weekend – of course, depending on how deep your pocket is.
